Born and raise in Louisana. I am an African American and at the tender age of six I integrated the lower Elementary School along with my sister and a close friend. I join the military after finishing high school and also served in the Gulf War. I was a sargeant in the Army and was always considered to be outspokened. I have worked for the military and corporate america. I joined Toasmasters speaking organization in 2004. Chapter 9 Why Money is not the Total Answer to Success and Happiness I’m sure you have heard the proverb: “If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, but if you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for life.” I feel this is very true. A friend told me about a story that aired on TV. He explained that they took a homeless man off the street and gave him a hundred thousand dollars. The producers gave the man instructions on how to save and invest his money. If he invested properly, his standard of living would improve significantly and leave him in a better financial situation.
