For the past twenty-eight years, since the manifestation of Gnan (Self Realization), Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan had not been the owner of His body, He remained detached and lived like a neighbor with His body. Otherwise, this type of wonder – His higher awareness and insights as a Gnani Purush (Enlightened One) would not have been found. Let us look at the type of science Param Pujya Dadashri applied to maintain constant Self-awareness in His worldly life. He always applied the science that separated Himself, the pure Soul, from His relative self. For instance, if Param Pujya Dadashri was running a fever and someone was to ask Him, “Do you have a fever?” He would respond by saying, “Yes A. M. Patel has a fever, and I am aware of that.” If He had said, “Yes, I have a fever,” then the fever would stick to Him. For people to attain the knowledge of the Self and gain an understanding of Akram Vignan, Param Pujya Dadashri would travel all over India and the world. He would always travel by third or economy class and never opted to travel by first class. This is because if He traveled by first class He would be troubled by His fellow passengers. They would ask Him questions such as, “Where do You live? What is Your address?” It was not in Param Pujya Dadashri’s character to twist things, so He would answer truthfully. Inevitably, His fellow passengers would visit Him at His house and this would cause botheration. On the other hand, Param Pujya Dadashri felt that the third-class passengers were just like His brothers. The carriages, always overcrowded and chaotic, proved an ideal setting for Him to examine the inner reactions if someone stepped on His feet and allowed Him to put His Self-awareness to the test. He would be able to tackle the inner enemies; weakness of anger, pride, attachment, and greed, that arose, during these instances, such was His constant heightened spiritual awareness. For example, owing to the length of the journey and the limited seating space in the carriage, Param Pujya Dadashri’s legs would hurt. He would ask, ‘Ambalalbhai, are your legs hurting? You have been sitting in a cramped position for a long time. Upon visiting the bathroom, He would look in the mirror, pat himself on the back, and He would say, ‘Don't worry I am with you, why are you anxious? I am the Lord within you and I am with you.’ Thereafter, Ambalalbhai would feel as if He was traveling in First Class! After Self Realization, when you encounter difficulties you can apply this understanding in your daily life also. You can converse with your relative self by saying, “Before there was only you but now there are two of us. Previously you had no one to depend on. You were looking for someone to lean on all by yourself. But now you have me as well.” You should speak as if you are the king of the entire universe. You too will reap the benefits of separation after conversing with your relative self. This phenomenal science, which Param Pujya Dadashri has shown and shared with us, has been derived from His personal life experiences after the manifestation of the knowledge of the Self.
