The Essence of all Wisdom
- in 18 versions –

Version 1:
The infinite variety of creation is the expression of one common essence.

Version 2:
The essence of all and everything is ‘being’; pure existence, pure intelligence.

Version 3:
Being, pure intelligence, is conscious of itself. It is awareness; a state of pure consciousness.

Version 4:
Being, intelligence or consciousness is completely abstract, but that does not mean it is non-existent! On the contrary, it is the real and ultimate essence of all that is, was and will be. Though it is abstract, it is the source and essence of all that is concrete. Consciousness is the ‘Absolute’ of the philosophers. It is the ‘Zero-Point-Field’ of modern physics.

Version 5:
Consciousness is omnipresent and all pervading. By its very nature, consciousness is intelligent and creative. By itself and from within itself, it creates the infinite variety of the manifest universe.

Version 6:
Consciousness is that, which by religions is called God, Allah, Shiva, Brahman, Atma, Paramatma, Deva, Tao, Adonai, Ahora Mazda, Wakan Tanka, etc.

Version 7:
There is only one consciousness in the entire universe. Who’s consciousness is that? Our consciousness, our common source of awareness. Consciousness is the Self of all creatures. Consciousness is that ‘element’ in the universe, that gives every creature its sense of ‘self’, its sense of identity.

Version 8:
Consciousness can best be compared to an unbounded ocean. The ocean of consciousness is omnipresent, cosmic. The infinite, ever changing phenomena in the universe can be compared to the restless, ever changing waves on the ocean.

Version 9:
Every object and every living creature is a temporary manifestation of the ete
al and infinite field of consciousness. Just as every wave is a temporary expression of the ocean.

Version 10:
We human beings are remarkable manifestations of consciousness, in the sense that we have the (latent) ability to become aware of our source and essence. For this, all we have to do is become aware of the source of our own thoughts. The source of thoughts and feelings is the ete
al field of pure consciousness, pure intelligence. This silent level of awareness is our true Self, the source of our ego.

Version 11:
As soon as we become aware of our essence, we realize that we have become aware of the essence of everything, since there is only one essence of creation. Our true Self is the Self of all creatures. The true Self is cosmic, ete
al and unbounded. Note that our true Self is not personal: it is universal!

Version 12:
Through the daily practice of ‘silence exercises’, like meditation, contemplation, introspection and quiet prayer, we become familiar with that level in ourselves that is abstract and unchanging - the level of pure consciousness. In this way, the usual waking state of consciousness is enriched and deepened. Our awareness expands and becomes capable to encompass all layers of creation: from the silent depths of non-changing consciousness to the superficial layers of the ever changing phenomenal world. Traditionally this enriched state of awareness is called ‘cosmic consciousness’ and is considered to be the state of ‘Enlightenment’, or ‘Liberation’. From this third millennium onwards, we should however understand that this state of consciousness is the natural state of psychological maturity of a human being.

Version 13:
When, through the above-mentioned practices, we become increasingly familiar with the source of our thoughts - the field of pure consciousness - we discover in ourselves many wonderful evolutionary qualities, such as happiness, peace, freedom, intelligence, creativity, stability, self-awareness, self-love, self-trust, self-reliance, independence, wisdom and love.

Version 14:
When more and more people realize their true Self, and gain cosmic awareness and thus become psychologically mature, then an influence of peace, harmony and enlightenment is automatically generated in society and in the world as a whole.

Version 15:
Psychological maturity in cosmic consciousness means that we know and apply the Natural Laws of the universe in our daily lives. All the ete
al Laws of Nature reside on the level of pure consciousness. When many people enjoy this natural and relaxed way of functioning in cosmic consciousness, then the age-old aspiration of the wise will find its fulfillment. In Christianity, this vision of the wise is expressed as: Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. In Hinduism, it is expressed as: Ram Raj on earth”– Gods Reign on earth.

Version 16:
Problems, conflicts, wars, terror, destruction of natural resources, etc. are the natural and inevitable effect of living in a state of psychological immaturity. As long as human beings have not realized their true Self, their functioning is on a sub-human level. Only the three lowest chakras are activated (1. survival, 2. sex and 3. personal power) the four higher ones are inactive and do not produce their beneficial effects. (4. love, 5. wisdom, 6. co-creation with the cosmic intelligence and 7. bliss)

Version 17:
The struggle against the thousand and one deplorable situations in the world – the war against the thousand-headed dragon of ignorance – is in itself a symptom of a lack of psychological maturity. Psychologically mature people no longer fight. They think, speak and act on the basis of love and wisdom; on the basis of empathy and on the basis of insight into reality.

Version 18:
By a thorough transformation of our state of consciousness, and by developing a state of consciousness that is all-comprehensive (cosmic), we become true human beings. With this thoroughly human awareness, we will be able to bring about the desired and necessary improvements in the living conditions of all human beings on our beautiful planet. Only a new seed, will yield a new crop. The consciousness paradigm, described in these 18 points, is the common reference frame of all sciences and all religions. By becoming psychologically mature, and naturally adhering to this all-embracing paradigm, mankind will become aware of the unity that is underlying all diversity! This broadened state of human awareness will be the stable foundation for lasting world peace.
