Inner strength is the ability to withstand and overcome challenges, adversity, and difficult circumstances without relying on external support or self-validation. It is characterised by the right understanding, self-awareness, maintaining equanimity, bravery, patience, and a positive attitude in the face of obstacles. Inner strength is not about physical power or toughness, but rather about one's ability to cope with stress and worries, bounce back from setbacks, and maintain a sense of purpose even when facing difficulties. Every one of us has the ability to tap into our inner strength or inner energies but these inner energies have been hidden from us due to ignorance of ‘who we really are’. Hence, the ultimate solution to discover and put into use your infinite energies is through Self-realisation. Inner strength refers to detachment, resilience, common sense and maintaining equanimity that individuals possess within themselves. It is the ability to remain steadfast, calm and composed in the face of challenges, adversity, or external pressures. Inner strength is not dependent on external circumstances or validation from others but is rooted within the true Self - the pure Soul. This becomes apparent after attaining the knowledge of ‘who am I.’ Let us read about what Dada Bhagwan founder of Akram Vignan has said about infinite energies: “Yes, but that energy should manifest through a Gnani Purush (a fully Enlightened One). Just as when you went to school to learn. Your knowledge was already there within you, but the teachers brought it to light. In the same way, from the Gnani Purush, your energies will arise. There is infinite energy, but it lies deep within. ‘We’ expose those energies for you. There is tremendous energy lying within. Not just in you, but such energy lies in every living being. But what can one do when there are layers and layers of coverings that cover it up?” As humans, we are all pure souls with infinite energy. However, due to layers of ignorance, we are often unaware of our own potential. With the help of a Gnani, these layers can be broken, and the power of energy is released. Let us see how a Gnani can help us tap into our inner strength and unleash its full potential. In Akram Vignan, spiritual science, individuals realise their inner strength through a process called the Self-Realisation ceremony (Gnan Vidhi). This process involves experiencing one's true Self directly. Self-realisation leads to a transformation in one's inner state, resulting in an increased ability to face challenges, maintain a positive and calm outlook, and remain equanimous in difficult situations. The process of Self-realisation in Akram Vignan involves gaining a clear and the right understanding of the true nature of the Self and the non-self (mind, body, and ego complex). Through this journey, individuals discover their inherent infinite energies which help them overcome worldly weaknesses which mainly stem from kashays such as anger, pride, deceit, greed, likes and dislikes and experience inner peace and stability no matter how challenging a situation is. Self-realisation refers to the direct experiential understanding of one's true nature of the Self. It is the realisation that the true Self is distinct from the body, mind, and ego. This realisation is associated with a profound shift in one's understanding, where one recognises their inherent nature, which is very distinct from the mind, body, and ego. Therefore, the inner strength we have after Self-realisation makes us brave allowing us to be willing to face difficulties and suffering, without experiencing fear or hesitation but rather detachment and equanimity.
