So, as I write this, I am sitting in my hotel room about to take myself off to do some shopping for my princesses and hubby, who I am missing incredibly badly… Just a little over 48 hours and I will see them again, if all goes to plan and no crazy IStanbul uprising breaks out again…
We are so blessed that we get to live in such privileged times… We are SO BLESSED! And for the most part, it has come too easy and so we forget… We take it for granted … And we are blessed that we can even take it for granted! And I am no different from anyone reading this… I forget… I forget and I start to pretend that I do not have the freedoms I have! I forget that I live in a day and age where most people on the planet are connected – It has never been easier to build a successful business.
Lots of people go through life not knowing who or what they are about. They chase after goals because others have told them that that is what they should want and they get to their goal but find that it is not as great as it is cracked up to be. And so they go off and start chasing after something else because again, they have been informed that this is what you must do. Are you a little like this? Are you so capable that you hit all the goals but then you get there to discover you don’t really want it?
I listen to people telling me day in and day out about how they only want to make the money they need… And I see from their demeanour that they think that that makes them in some way, holier than everyone else out there who is out to grab everything they can get - or so they think…
I thought I was frigid… I did not seem to like sex much… I had loved the idea of it before having it… (Apart from the guilt of it, of course…) But now I was married, supposedly allowed to indulge in as much sex as I liked and I kinda hated it.
It is scary and exhilarating to see how much power people have over their own financial futures…

Think about it… A life with no guilt, no shame and no fear about whatever it is you are about to do or have done… How freeing would that be? No longer worrying about being a good or bad parent - Just loving your kids the best you can in this moment…
